Description: This presentation is part of our ongoing NPHTI Webinar series.  

With the ongoing need for continuing education in Pediatric Hypnosis for the large cadre of those who have done Workshop training in Pediatric Clinical Hypnosis with NPHTI, our successful Webinar Program continues as a methodology to provide continuing education in Pediatric Hypnosis via virtual Webinar, which we have offered since 2022 due to increased demand for online training.  Gaps & needs identified by requests/needs for training in increasingly advanced methodologies of applying pediatric hypnosis skills in common disorders of children and adolescents.   

Learning Objectives:  By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to: 

• Select age-appropriate hypnosis techniques matched to a child’s developmental stage, interests, and play styles. 
• Deliver targeted therapeutic suggestions (such as the “magic glove” or sensory changes) to help relieve procedural distress and pain. 
• Teach simple self-hypnosis strategies to children and families to foster independent coping during medical procedures.
