Advanced Webinar : When Intuition Meets Hypnosis: An Integrative, Relational Approach to Healing Trauma with the CORE model

Held virtually, September 26th & 27th, 10 – 3pm each day with 2 15-minute breaks and a half hour lunch break

CE hours: 8

Description: The events of life cannot be changed; however, when the intuitive resources of the unconscious mind are integrated with the methodologies of Hypnosis, perceptions can be altered, meanings can be reframed, and healing can occur. This two-day didactic and experiential workshop will introduce the four components of the CORE Model: Connect, Orient, Resource, Establish, an innovative, relational approach that creates a context of attunement in which therapeutic alliances can be safely established and securely thrive. In this compassionate environment, hypnosis methodologies, utilized along with the intuitive guidance of both clinician and client, develop a fertile foundation for the unconscious mind and the conscious mind to do their best work. Within this consciously/intuitively integrated dynamic, reassociations of dormant, latent, and forgotten phenomena of resilience can be safely elicited, and new awarenesses of ego strengths can become realized, absorbed, and securely anchored to endure.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Name the four features of the CORE model.
  2. Describe the phenomenology of at least one feature of the CORE model.
  3. Identify two phenomenological features of intuition.
  4. Explain one way in which the CORE model is an integrative approach to treatment.
  5. 5.   List at least two features of hypnosis methodology that can be integrated with intuitive guidance.
  6. Given a hypothetical or actual client, create an idea for a session that would include some aspect of unconscious, intuitive guidance, with an aspect of hypnosis methodology.
