Abstract: In this virtual workshop, participants will be introduced to Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and how hypnosis can be utilized during Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy sessions to deepen and enhance treatment outcomes.  Ms. Wegweiser will share video footage of using hypnosis during different aspects of a Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy session.   

Learning Objectives: At the completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Identify two benefits of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. 
2. List and describe the three stages of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. 
3. Describe the difference between psycholytic and psychedelic Ketamine-Assisted therapy sessions.
4. Outline the ways hypnosis can be utilized during the different phases of administration of Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.    

Speaker: Nicole Wegweiser, LCSW, MSW 

Nicole Wegweiser, LCSW, is the founder and owner of Mindful Therapy of Monmouth County in Matawan, NJ.  Ms. Wegweiser was trained and certified in hypnosis through the Clinical Hypnosis Society of New Jersey in 2017 and served as secretary for the board from 2020-2022.  Ms. Wegweiser is also a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, a Supervised Practitioner of Psychodrama, an EMDR therapist, and a Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapist.  Ms. Wegweiser enjoys blending her modalities, in addition to offering sound healing, with her clients and in the community.
