About the ASCH Advisor

The ASCH Advisor is published quarterly to ASCH members.

ASCH members are invited to submit news, reviews, letters to the editor and other material for inclusion in the quarterly ASCH Advisor. Submissions will be edited for clarity, consistency, and to conform with ASCH’s editorial style guidelines. Please include photos and images as appropriate.

Meet ASCH’s New Team Members

Matthew Clark

Executive Director

Serving as ASCH’s new Executive Director, Matthew brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare associations to his role. A leader at Kellen since 2024, Matthew has worked with physicians, clinical researchers, occupational therapy practitioners, and other healthcare professionals throughout his career. He will work with the ASCH Board on strategic initiatives, organization infrastructure, and governance. 

Courtney Truelove

Operations Director

Courtney Truelove brings over 10 years of experience in association management to ASCH. She offers a well-rounded background spanning executive leadership, board relations, membership recruitment and retention, and program development and execution. In her role, Courtney oversees ASCH’s membership and certification program, leveraging her expertise to enhance engagement, increase participation, and support the organization’s long-term success.

Joi Harper

Managing Editor, ASCH Advisor

Joi Harper is a value-driven storyteller and strategist with several years of experience in marketing and communications. They bring a strong background of supporting organizations through creative vision and strategic insight, using that mindset to reimagine marketing and communications initiatives within each organization. In their role with ASCH, Joi oversees the quarterly ASCH Newsletter, ASCH Advisor. 

Charlotte Healy

Senior Education Manager

Charlotte (Charlie) Healy, PhD, is an education leader specializing in professional and continuing education within association and nonprofit settings. She serves as Education Manager, overseeing the strategy, development, accreditation, and delivery of ASCH’s continuing education trainings and workshops. Charlie holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy and Leadership from the University of Maryland and brings a background in higher education instruction, K–12 education, and education research.

Emma Chan

Associate Account Executive

Emma Chan is an association management professional with a background in public relations, events, and marketing. New to the field, she brings strong communications and engagement experience, supporting campaigns, coordinating events, and developing marketing initiatives. Emma is passionate about building connections, enhancing member experiences, and supporting organizational growth.

Hana Nguyen

Marketing Coordinator

Hana Nguyen is a dedicated marketing professional for ASCH with 10+ years of experience in email marketing, social media, and membership growth, leading integrated marketing efforts that promote educational programs, events, and member value.
