Component Societies Directory
The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH) and its Component Societies have grown and developed greatly since the beginning of the Society in 1957. There are now more than 15 separate Component Societies formally recognized by ASCH. These Societies are spread across the U.S. and Canada and are an integral part of the success of ongoing activities within ASCH.
ASCH has put together a Resource Manual to help preserve the history and tradition of ASCH with its Component Sections. It is also intended to serve as a tool Component Sections can utilize to learn about the opportunities, rights, and responsibilities of Component Sections within ASCH. It will also serve as a useful function for groups wishing to consider applying for component status in ASCH. The Resource Manual is currently under revision and will be posted soon.

A Component Section is a local, state/provincial, or regional society of clinical hypnosis that has at least 8 ASCH members. Some components are small study groups, others are large organizations with hundreds of people. There are 16 current Component Sections, all of which hold meetings and host programs.
