ASCH President
Welcome to the November edition of our quarterly ASCH Advisor. First and foremost, I’d like to remind you about our upcoming ASCH 2026 Annual Scientific Meetings & Workshops (ASMW), happening March 20–22, 2026. This year’s theme, “New Frontiers in Hypnosis: Human Ingenuity, AI Innovation, and Ethical Boundaries,” will explore the evolving role of clinical hypnosis at the intersection of human creativity, emerging technologies, and ethical practice. Though this will be a virtual event, we also plan to host a live viewing at Kellen in Washington, DC, where members can gather and enjoy the meeting together. More information regarding the in-person option will be sent soon, and in-person seating will be limited. I invite all members to join either virtually or in person for next year’s conference. Our program chair and President-Elect, Jeff Feldman, along with our program committee, have spectacular offerings in sight for the conference!
Second, thanks to the continued dedication of our members and our workshop attendees, our society is beginning to improve our financial standing, a reprieve from the severe financial difficulties that the society has faced in the past years. This has encouraged us to introduce new advanced offerings that we are eager to maintain year after year. Watch your emails for more information on these trainings. Thank you to all the instructors who have continued to provide good-quality education through our workshops.
Kellen has been tremendous in helping us regain our footing. They’ve been an excellent partner to work with, helping us develop clear goals that give us the guidance and direction we need to help our society improve on many levels.
Thank you to everyone for being a member throughout the years. Though it has been a busy year, it has been an exciting one, and we are looking forward to carrying this progress into the new year.
As a member, you can help us consistently improve by remaining certified each year, paying your dues, continuing to participate in our webinars and conferences, staying in touch with key offerings like this newsletter and the journal, and inviting new members to join.
