Abstract: CFCH-AB Presents: Level 1 Clinical Hypnosis (Virtual) – an engaging, ASCH-approved (pending) training that provides 22 credited hours for beginners and those working toward certification in clinical hypnosis. Presented by Monica Wong (Alberta, Canada), Akira Otani (Maryland, USA), and Linda Thomson (Vermont, USA), this interactive workshop introduces the foundations of hypnosis, including inductions, suggestions, and therapeutic strategies. Through a blend of live instruction, demonstrations, and extended small-group practice, participants will build a solid understanding of the core principles and practical applications of clinical hypnosis.
The program is delivered in two parts—October 17–18 and November 14–15, 2025, from 9:30 am to 4:15 pm MST—allowing time between sessions to reflect, integrate learning, and apply new skills in practice. By the end of the training, participants will have the confidence and competence to begin incorporating clinical hypnosis into their work, as well as eligibility for ASCH membership and a pathway to advanced training. An optional consultation group will also be available for those seeking continued support in applying hypnosis to clinical practice. For more information and to register online, please visit www.clinicalhypnosis.ca or call (780) 996-5409.
