Abstract:
Treating ADHD in Adolescents and Adults with Clinical Hypnosis will offer an updated knowedgebase of the latest research and developments in the field of ADHD. This 2 day virtual workshop will provide participants with common and creative clinical hypnosis techniques and applications for diagnosing and treating clients with ADHD. This workshop will include applying hypnosis to ADHD/EFD and learning about the Asch Effect. The recent findings of multiple ADHD inherited genes, along with medication options and alternatives will be presented. Participants will receive diagnostic tools and assessments, and a list of applications for signs and symptoms of ADHD.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn how to diagnose ADHD as a foundational self-regulation disorder
- Discuss the impact of comorbid disorders, especially Executive Function Disorder (EFD) on the signs and symptoms of ADHD
- Describe effective hypnotherapeutic strategies and techniques that can be used to empower clients with ADHD
- Develop treatment plan for clients with ADHD using hypnosis as one of the primary tools for long-term results
