SUMMARY:Hypnotherapy for Wellbeing: Integrating Positive Psychology into Clinical Practice (NTSCH)
DESCRIPTION:Organization: North Texas Society of Clinical Hypnosis  \nWebsite: https://www.northtexashypnosis.org/   \nEvent Title: Hypnotherapy for Wellbeing: Integrating Positive Psychology into Clinical Practice  \nAgenda:  NTSCH_4.22.26 \nDates: 4/22/26  \nLocation: Virtual  \nCE: 1.5  \nContact : Tracy Payton Watson\, LPC tracypaytonwatson@gmail.com   \nDescription: This presentation explores the use of Hypnotic Relaxation Therapy for Wellbeing (HRT-WB) as an evidence-informed approach to enhance psychological\, emotional\, and social wellbeing. Drawing from positive psychology principles\, HRT-WB emphasizes building strengths and fostering resilience rather than solely addressing symptoms. SUMMARY:Therapeutic Hypnosis: Discovering Inner Resources – The Cell as a Metaphor (CTSCH)
DESCRIPTION:Organization: Central Texas Society of Clinical Hypnosis  \nWebsite: https://www.ctsch.com/   \nEvent Title: Therapeutic Hypnosis: Discovering Inner Resources – The Cell as a Metaphor (Advanced Workshop)  \nAgenda:  Agenda \nDates: 04/24/2026; 1-3pm CT \nLocation: Virtual  \nCE: 2  \nContact : CTSCH@CTSCH.com  \nDescription: Each of us carries millions of cells within us\, tirelessly working to keep our bodies healthy and functioning — without us needing to understand exactly how they do it. These cells are not only responsible for our physical health but can also inspire us as metaphors and serve as models for our inner strength. Through inner images and metaphors\, trance enables experiences that can lead to lasting change. Personal resources can be discovered\, resilience strengthened\, self-efficacy experienced\, and healthy boundaries consciously perceived. Case examples illustrate how easily and effectively these abilities can be activated through trance.  \nThis lecture offers a practical demonstration\, using real cases\, of how hypnotherapy can help strengthen self-efficacy and enable individuals to move safely and confidently through a complex world.    \nParticipants will be able to:   \n\nDescribe how to elicit at least two client resources and identify one problem-maintaining pattern using a cell-based metaphor  \nName and describe at least two techniques to facilitate client experiences of self-efficacy\, resilience\, or boundary awareness in clinical and high-performance contexts \nExplain at least two approaches for facilitating transitions from a problem-maintaining state to an adaptive resource states \n\nSpeaker info:  Dr. Stella Nkenke\, MD  –Stella_Nkenke_CV_updated
