Having started as a continuity of care therapist for local hospitals and rehabs in Houston trauma was a topic that was continually present. Later\, having moved to Plano\, Debra was the counselor for two cities in the DFW area for city employees including first responders. She received trauma training from the VA and Center Deployment Psychology. Interestingly\, trauma was present in all sectors of city employees not just first responders.
