SUMMARY:NEW! ASCH Online Clinical Demonstration Series
DESCRIPTION:The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH) is pleased to introduce a new quarterly online educational series designed to bring participants into an interactive and engaging clinical learning experience. The inaugural session will take place on Wednesday\, November 18\, featuring veteran clinicians Akira Otani\, EdD\, and George Glaser\, LCSW. \n\nOne of the most valuable aspects of hypnosis training is the opportunity to observe experienced clinicians in action. This virtual series provides a unique opportunity to watch master practitioners demonstrate a variety of hypnotic approaches\, therapeutic modalities\, and clinical styles with volunteer participants. \nEach session will allow attendees to: \n\nObserve live clinical demonstrations by experienced hypnosis practitioners\nCompare different techniques\, language patterns\, and therapeutic approaches\nExplore how different clinicians achieve similar therapeutic goals through distinct methods\nEngage directly with presenters through discussion and questions\nVolunteer as trance participants when appropriate\nParticipate in a true workshop-style learning environment\n\nBecause the program is designed to be flexible and responsive to participant interests\, the format may vary from session to session. Presenters may respond to audience-submitted clinical questions\, demonstrate alternative approaches with the same volunteer\, or work with different volunteers and discuss the similarities and differences in their methods. Each session will conclude with opportunities for reflection\, discussion\, and questions. \nPlease note: Continuing education credits will not be offered for this series due to the flexible\, participant-driven nature of the content. \n\nProgram Details\nDate: Wednesday\, November 18\nTime: 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM ET\nFormat: Live Virtual Program \nRegistration Fee: $15 ASCH Members | $25 Non-Member \nRegister Here\nCan’t attend live? The session will be recorded and made available to all registered participants for later viewing. \n\nCancellation Policy: Due to the low registration fee and the availability of the recorded session to all registrants\, cancellations and refunds will not be provided.\n\nPresenters\nGeorge Glaser\, LCSW\n \nGeorge Glaser\, MSW\, LCSW\, is in private practice in Austin\, Texas.
