SUMMARY:Hypnosis Level 1 Workshop (CTSCH)
DESCRIPTION:Organization: Central Texas Society of Clinical Hypnosis (CTSCH)  \nWebsite: https://www.ctsch.com/   \nEvent Title: Hypnosis Level 1 Workshop  \nAgenda:  Timed_Agenda_Level_1_2026 CTSCH \nDates: Feb. 26-28 AND Mar. 5-7\, 2026  \nLocation: Hybrid; Webinar and In-person training  \nCE: 22 CE  \nContact :  Anita Jung\, anitajung.therapy@pm.me  \nAbstract:   \nThe Level 1 Clinical Hypnosis Workshop is the entry point in a progressive training series leading toward certification through the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH). Designed for licensed healthcare professionals—including physicians\, dentists\, psychologists\, and counselors—this workshop offers a solid foundation in the principles\, processes\, and clinical applications of hypnosis.  \nLed by an experienced clinician\, the training blends didactic presentations\, live demonstrations\, experiential exercises\, and structured small-group practice. Participants learn how to elicit hypnotic phenomena\, conduct basic inductions\, apply therapeutic suggestions\, and integrate hypnosis into treatment plans across a wide range of clinical presentations. The workshop emphasizes both the science and the practical use of hypnosis.  \nTopics include the psychophysiology of trance\, rapport building\, utilization of patient strengths\, and the role of focused attention and imagery in facilitating change. Through guided practice\, participants gain confidence in using hypnosis to support behavioral change\, reduce distress\, enhance coping\, and introduce patients to self-hypnosis for continued well-being. By the conclusion of the training\, participants will have been taught the foundational skills necessary to begin incorporating clinical hypnosis into their practice\, including the ability to:  \n\nEstablish rapport and strengthen patient motivation \n Guide patients through hypnotic states and therapeutic suggestions• Reduce barriers to change and support adaptive responses\n Use ego-strengthening strategies to enhance resilience\n Teach self-hypnosis for long-term health benefits\n\nClinical hypnosis offers a flexible\, patient-centered\, and cost-effective therapeutic approach. This workshop invites providers to expand their skill set\, deepen therapeutic presence\, and bring creative\, evidence-based methods into everyday clinical care.  \nLearning Objectives: (See agenda)  \nSpeaker info: JungVitaeComplete2025
