This training focuses on ways to facilitate and refine the integration of hypnosis into clinical practice through didactic presentations\, guided hypnotic experiences\, demonstrations and paired practices of hypnotic tools. The training will address (self)hypnosis for the regulation of unhelpful trance states such as anxiety\, depression\, OCD and excessive anger. We will review and practice formal and informal ways to elicit trance experiences with a special focus on traumatized and dissociative clients\, we’ll address hypnosis for the management of physical discomfort and pain in people of all ages\, and how to use exploratory hypnosis for personal growth\, creativity\, and play. Participants can look forward to expanding their existing knowledge\, comfort\, and facility of offering formal and informal hypnosis to their clients.
