- Demonstrate three (3) hypnotic induction techniques, deepening techniques and alerting techniques as well as demonstrating skill in suggesting hypnotic phenomena

TREATMENT PLANNING, STRATEGY AND TECHNIQUE SELECTION IN HYPNOTHERAPY
Learning Objectives:
- Illustrate clinical conditions and uses of both suggestive hypnotic approaches and exploratory hypnotic approaches
- Identify cases where hypnosis may be indicated and cases where it may be contraindicated
- Demonstrate an understanding of various therapeutic goals that may be facilitated by the use of hypnosis

- Discuss how hypnosis can be used for treatment of anxiety disorders
- Demonstrate the use of insight-oriented techniques

- Describe the Sequence of Treatment
- Demonstrate how to create a self-soothing experience in the first session
