Catherine Quinn was very committed to her patients and bringing hypnosis to them and the community. While attending an ASCH conference, she and colleagues decided to create a new version of the then-defunct Cincinnati Society of Clinical Hypnosis (CSCH). Her relentless pursuit to develop a new component section paid off in the rebirth of the CSCH in 2013. She actively promoted hypnosis and society. She was also a co-founder of a women’s group dedicated to using hypnosis for change. Catherine represented the CSCH (now the TriState Society of Clinical Hypnosis) on the ASCH Board of Governors for a number of years, served as a component section officer in many positions, and created and maintained the website. The TriState Society and the larger community will greatly miss her.
